Three Generations of Hartley's

On Saturday, May 1st, three generations of the Hartley Bros. Landscaping family from Westfield, MA, installed a Paver Walkway at Stanley Park in conjunction with the Park's ongoing educational Seminars. The walkway is located at the entrance to the Rec Area Pavilion near the children's playground area.
Andy Hartley and Dan Neviackas, a Unilock representative that manufactures the pavers, spoke on installing a paver walkway for the do-it-yourself enthusiasts. Topics included the most vital step of the process - Preparing the Base. The informational session included discussion on the site conditions, excavating, materials and compacting. Dan also discussed how to select the appropriate paver for your projects and the aesthetics with your home's structure and landscaping.
