Building a Patio/Sidewalk with Pavers
Hartley Bros. Landscaping, Inc. from Westfield, MA presented this workshop near the Meeting House at Stanley Park. Attendees learned how to install a sidewalk or patio during the live installation. Bret Hartley spoke on soil conditions, excavation, compaction, and how the foundation is the most important part of a sidewalk installation and how to place the pavers to a finish grade. Cathy Hartley provided information on where to purchase the pavers and the various patterns for the right look for your landscape.
