Rear of home - before and after views
With the construction of our customer’s new home complete, our designer created a welcoming presence for the new homeowners by designing their landscape to visually appreciate throughout the seasons.
Our design began with the installation of the front sidewalk using Brussels Block Pavers in the Coffee Creek blend by Unilock. An irregular bluestone patio was installed in the rear of the home with spacing between the stones for thyme plants. Due to the sloping conditions and accessibility to the rear of the property, walls were built using Country Wall stone at the back of the home leading up to the driveway with a set of stairs built into the walls. At the gable end of the home, Country Wall stone was also used for the walls that wrap into the hill. All shrub beds and lawn areas are irrigated with a sprinkler system. The shrub beds are raised slightly for character and all mulched with Pine Bark Mulch. Boulders were used as accent pieces as well as a Granite Hitching Post. White Vinyl Fencing was installed at the end of the driveway. A flag pole and American flag were proudly installed by the Hartley Bros. crew.
In addition to the landscape accent features mentioned above, a variety of trees, shrubs and plants were installed surrounding the property. With the infinite variety of greens in leaves and the changing nature of the plants each season, the landscape textures will create an interesting landscape appealing to the senses in appearance and aromas from the flowers. A landscape designed to visually enjoy whether viewed from inside the home or time spent in its natural beauty.
